Dr. K. Suresh Kasagani

Dr. K. Suresh Kasagani received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Kakatiya University in 2006. He did his doctoral work (2001-2006) at University College in Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal. Under the guidance of Dr. S.J.Swamy.

During his doctoral research, He published his thesis titled Synthesis, Characterization, and Applications of some N4–donors and their lanthanide complexes: X-ray structural studies of New Compounds. He has been a part of four publications while also participating in oral and poster presentations at Scientific Symposiums in India.

After completing his Ph.D. he joined as a senior research associate in Sai life sciences for seven years (2006-2013) on multi-step synthesis in medicinal chemistry. He worked as a Research Scientist at Piramal Enterprises Ltd for two years (2013-2015), on process development on intermediate and KSMs and API molecules. Once again joined Sai life sciences as a Senior Research Scientist for eight years (2015-2023) on process development from mg level to tones levels.

Currently working as a Principal Scientist at Sapala Organics Private Limited, and is involved in the custom synthesis of intermediates for outsourced projects and handling of FTE-based assignments.
